embroiderer. At age 8, Warhol contracted a deadly disease and at this time his mother while taking care of him she gave him his first drawing lesson which later became his favorite activity. When he Graduated from college Warhol moved to New York and dropped the a from his name. Warhol then landed a job with Glamour magazine, and quickly became the most successful commercial artist of the 1950s. And frequently won awards. Warhol then began devoting more to painting and in 1961 he

debuted the concept of "pop art"paintings that focused on mass-produced commercial goods. Influences In 1961 Andy Warhol introduced the concept of pop art. Warhol had influenced thousands of artist. Also Warhols view on fame seems to have predicted 21st century celebrity culture and our inescapable critique of the Hollywood star system. Warhols work will always be

remembered for their bold, bright and colorful nature, as well as of the images painted and printed that sear upon the brain and leave a lasting impression. Warhol not only change the face of art and the way in which we view it, but he also created a revolution throughout the entire world that will never be forgotten. Impact on society Many people did not like Warhol which
